ORCHARD DESIGN

Orchard Design is a Melbourne based contemporary art and design studio comprising of Artists, Architects and Landscape Architects with an interest in the integration between Art and Architecture.

Owner and principal artist Anthony Russo started his professional life in 1987 when he co-founded Orchard Studio. Over a 20-year period Orchard Studio produced a considerable amount of significant work including major public sculptures, contemporary liturgical design as well as pieces for private collections.

In more recent years Orchard Design has worked predominantly at an architectural scale completing multiple large scale sculpture works as well as numerous building and landscape projects. This has unlocked a new range of possibilities and allowed us to further explore our fascinations in relation to the interconnection between three-dimensional form and materiality - the intersection between contemporary design, architectural form and sculptural intent.
